Kia has rallied a number of sporty cars to present at this year's SEMA show. And by sporty, we don't mean to imply high-performance sports cars. We simply mean... Sporty.
The first Kia to make its debut was the Retro Surf Rio5. Some of the highlights of this vehicle are:
- Three-piece 17-inch gold wheels
- Wood-grain finished surfboard mounted on the roof
- A wood front splitter
- Board-short-inspired
upholstery
Without question, the Surf Rio5 is a wave rider's dream car come true! From style to function, the Surf Rio5 has everything you need for a long day at the beach.
The Blake Griffin Kia Optima Hybrid made a slam dunk appearance this year at the SEMA show. For those who remember Blake Griffin and the leap he took over a new Optima as he won the 2011 slam-dunk contest, the Optima is painted to look similar to a basketball. Other key features include:
- Court-inspired flooring
-
Pop-a-Shot basketball hoop is stowed away in the trunk
- Flat-screen TV that can be connected to an
Xbox360!
Also making an appearance was the 2012 Kia Soul Hole-In-One, inspired by Michelle Wie.. To further honor
Wie, the golfer's logo is stitched into the car's leather headrests. Under
the hatch, the Soul also gets an Xbox 360, entertainment speakers, and two golf bags.
Hockey fans and
racing enthusiasts were not left out either. The Hat Trick Forte hatch was designed for only the biggest Hockey fans. And we expect the Rio5, which has been prepped for the Sports Car Club of America B-spec racing
series, will satisfy all of our racing fans.
The automaker is scoring some very big points among car
enthusiasts with the huge variety and styles of vehicles for sale. It is yet to be see whether it's enough to win the business of consumers. Central Kia of Irving located at 1600 E Airport Freeway, Irving Texas, is dedicated to keeping you informed with all the latest Kia news and updates.
